My Pakistan
Pictures of my Pakistan, Randomly taken on different nooks and corners and streets and main roads in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab. Don't feel bad please i don't mean to show the bad side of Pakistan because they show poverty and bad cleanliness situation but this is the most important reality we should and have to face, Ignorance is no longer a Bliss.
A beggar child.....no shoes, and the roads are so hot, considering the average temperature in Lahore which is 39.65 degrees in summer.
Littered corner of a street which leads to one of the areas best schools and housing societies.
No consideration to remove the construction material which is left over after the work has been completed....this is at the road which leads to Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Child Labor....what lies ahead in the future of this kid.....working in this heat everyday, with no education in sight...this is the road which leads to Allama Iqbal International Airport.
....this is at the road which leads to Allama Iqbal International Airport.
this was taken on 12th March, 2010
.This old man is a cobbler and he sits here everyday in winter and summer...this is in the middle of road a area secluded for electric poles and telephone boards...i wonder how content is he and how thankful should we be....
another picture of the same old man is below,
it was taken on 4th April, 2010
The old man is repairing the zip on a school bag and the man siting beside him is his customer...a repair such as this costs about 20 to 25 Rupees ( 24 cents to 34 cents)
thankyou for dropping by...please leave a comment it would mean alot.
Bye for now

Kinetic Photography (Second Try)
Hope you have a splendid new week.
Here is my second try on kinetic photography (playing with torch).....took the inspiration of a tv advertisement i saw, they were too professional in there light sketches but anyway Practice makes a man perfect :)
My venturing into new techniques and all is all because of 3 to 4 hour long black outs that too twice a day atleast and at really random hours.....so with no TV, internet or any other activity in house to do except the chores, I end up experimenting new stuff with my camera.

Kinetic Photography (first try)
Okay hello everyone...there aren't much people on my blog yet...no worries it will change with time..Hopefully
So here i have tried to do a new camera technique it falls in the category of Kinetic photography, its the field where you take a shot of moving light with camera settings on long exposure. So the image can vary depending upon the movement of light i.e, there are a few i took where i was moving the torch in front of the camera on self timer, than there are others which i took while the camera was moving around and the torch lay still...
The torch i used has 3 LED bulbs so you may see thin streaks of light forming a wider one :)
Ryan Gallagher was the man who introduced this technique and he has a blog which tells all about his work. This is the link to it http://cameratoss.blogspot.com/

A friend of mine suggested that i should make a blog as flickr isn't coming so handy they don't get to see the whole picture as in the story behind each picture i take. So hopefully i'll get the knack of blogging soon and start posting rather blogging regularly..
